ECONOMICAL WEDDING RECEPTION HALLS IN HOUSTON?!?

My sister is getting married next year in September and we've began our search for reception locations. We're looking for something nice, not too expensive (meaning avg. $3G) and for about 300-450 ppl. We're hoping for a place that offers packages that include tables, chairs, etc..(not included in the $3G of course). In one day we saw about 8 places that were too small or had an odor. We live 2 exits East of Downtown Houston, but don't expect the hall to necessarily be in our side of town. If anyone has an recommendation they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

These guys are some of the biggest party rental places in Houston. I'd call them about your needs and let them make some recomendations.

How about a church. Alot of churches rent really cheap and have a gym or fellowship hall or cafeteria. My wedding was pretty small like about 150 people and the church decided to rent to us for about $50
