ECU just beat VA tech how good can ecu be this year or was that a luck win.?

Considering they play in a weaker conference they have a chance to win alot of games. However, their win over Virginia Tech was a little lucky since Victor Harris was injured and Va Tech decided to redshirt their best player for no reason.

VT lost 13 players to the NFL last spring and ECU was playing with a senior team.  I think it was a great game for VT and ECU and both teams will come out stronger.  Next year TECH knocks the pants off ECU because their freshman will have experience and ECU loses there senior quarterback, O and D line.  Basically it was a bunch of purple senior bullies beating up on freshman but could only eek out a win in the last few minutes!

ECU is good, but they were better when they had chris johnson doing everything for them. starting pinckney wasn't a bad idea and he did great in the game. but i do think they're lucky. pinckney doesn't play this well in every game, and they beat VT with a blocked punt. they beat special teams master frank beamer with a special teams play. that's just very ironic and lucky. even though i know sean glennon isn't the greatest QB in the world, he had a bad game.

No, it wasn't a "luck win".  ECU is usually good to very good in football.  They go to a bowl game every year. And they contend for the Conference USA crown every year.

Last year they beat Boise State in a bowl game.

ECU is very good.  If it wasnt for a couple of mistakes by ECU that allowed VT to score, it might not have needed to come down to the last minute blocked punt.  I like their D
