here is the new one:

How do you tell Female and Male Neon Tetras apart.

Somebody told me it was by the blue line.

Like, male;crooked line & female;straight line ?

i know its a very slight change, but thats what that person said.

could you tell me how to tell females and male neon tetras apart please?

  1. well i dont know much about fish but i once heard that the brighter more strongly colored ones were males.


  2. i don't know. but if your school is big enough, you have both sexes.

    breeding neons is difficult. they are very particular about the water conditions.

  4. The only way to s*x them is the difference in size the female will be bigger and have a bigger belly when ready to breed. just look up your question on yahoo answers and it'll come up.

    there is no easy way, the only way to ensure both sexes is to get a big school.
