  1. Probably cooking class.  The in-class demonstrations would be a little less embarrassing.

Okay, I'll be serious.  I'd still go with the cooking class because it'd be more practical.  Unfortunately most s*x ed classes, as badly as they're needed, are poorly taught and most students come out of them as poorly informed as they were before.  Also, most teenagers think they already know everything about s*x and they don't believe they can ever get pregnant or catch a STD.  With a cooking class, at least they'll learn something useful.

  2. i would rather take cooking class since  i'll get ti cook and it would be a lot of fun.

  3. For myself, obviously the cooking class (to see what I missed in my whirlwind educatory process at Cordon Bleu....I really don't feel that I would get a LOT out of a s*x education class at this point in time, I MUST have REALLY paid attention in that subject in HS, quel suprese!!!

    NOW FOR KIDS:

I wish that BOTH were mandatory in schools these days, but with the POLITICIANS cutting EVERYTHING to the bones in schools these days, it's pretty unlikely that cooking or s*x education will fall short of usefull classes, like underwater basket weaving.....and at the student's detriment......Sad that our Governerator (yeah, Arnold is the Gov of California, unfortunately.....how the h**l DID that happen??) is cutting the funding for a lot of classes that our kids need.....Perhaps he should run for President of Austria......

  4. I taught my daughter how to cook and the correct facts about s*x, yes typical teen "ewww I don't want to know", but a few years later she was very please I had given her the facts, after a teacher asked students about STD's etc, and my daughter proudly gave the correct information and answers.

Sadly there are a few parents who can't cook much less give the correct facts about s*x, because they don't know them themselves. Reasons for this could be they were never told (I know I was not, so I learnt by reading or asking questions of adult friends), another reason is parents feel uncomfortable in talking about s*x and no doubt a host of other reasons.

Ideally it is the parents role to teach s*x ed and basic home care including cooking and budgeting, but there will always be a need for the school to pick any deficits, especially with so many parents not being at home because they are trying to provide for their family.

  5. Cooking class WITH my children.  They're 3 and 6 so it's a bit early for the other, but my son is already asking questions, so he'll be forgoing the Baked Alaska soon.

    :-D

  6. Well i choice cooking  because s*x education is something that i dont like to learn

  7. cooking cooking and cooking

  8. s*x education - it is a chance to learn FACTS instead of so many falsehoods that travel amongst "tweens" and even adults!

It is also a way to ask questions from a professional instead of a parent/guardian in case they are not comfortable.

  9. Although its very embarrassing, I would choose s*x education. Its important to learn about that kind of thing.

  10. cooking all the way. I had a s*x education class in High school and one in College (psychology major for a while) and it was totally useless

  11. So I have a choice between s*x ed or cooking! I'm wondering so the school has to teach you about s*x and your mother has to teach you to cook, Why can't Mother do both? or the school do both. I understand why it takes money to teach cooking with all the equipment and time, But why does it have to cost so much to teach about s*x? of course in both Cooking hands down!!
