I'm looking for a way to play my Xbox games on my EEE pc's screen. I'v heard you can plug it in using a capture card, but then I'm clueless.

Would I need some more software? Or what?

  1. To play Xbox 360 on any Laptop requires a video input device, usually a Tv Tuner card, needed software is usually bundle with the Tv Tuner card, the quality of the video depends on the resolution of the Screen it's being used, also note that EEE Pc's have poor processors and low ram, this is bad because the amount of lag that will occur tends to happen more on lower end computers.

Basically the Tv Tuner/Capture card is dependent on how good/fast the computers Cpu is and the amount of available Ram.

To be honest though you would be much better off playing on a standard definition television than spending money on any tv tuner/capture card, again small screen, low resolution, weak cpu and low ram that the EEE Pc has won't be good, not to mention that when you input a command/press a button on the controller it will be a few seconds before that command translates to a player movement on the screen. Even with higher end laptop's and desktop's this lag usually occurs whether it be with watching tv or playing a game input through the Tv tuner card.

  2. buy a tv tunner card for it ask the shopkeeper for more details
