Question:

EF College Break - Rooming - Grand Tour of Europe!?

Hey everyone!

So I'm booked for the EF College Break's Grand Tour of Europe this summer, and I have a question! [Obviously!]

On the restrictions, it notes that there are four travelers to a room, and that EF does not guarantee single beds for each night. So I was wondering if anyone has had the experience of being a single traveler and having to share a bed with a stranger!

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all SO much! :)

  1. I went to London and PAris this past Spring Break by myself and roomed with 2 other girls. It wasn't that bad, I didn't know them at first but we instantly clicked and became good friends. We stuck together throughout the trip when we went out and sightsee. The key is that when you pick your roommates make sure you pick someone that has similar likes like if you know you want to stay out late and party and get drunk then you pick roomies that want to do the same. Because if your the type that likes to come back to the hotel at a reasonable time and get your sleep on then you definitely don't want to pick rowdy party roommates. Usually like 30-90 days before your trip if you are on facebook your tourguide will send you a Facebook invite to your trip group so you can get to know your group. I got to know my roomies before I even met them, thats how I knew I wanted to room with them. Hope that helps!
