Question:

EG73 Hotpoint Oven heating when switched off

I have a Hotpoint EG73 oven that is heating even when switched off, was intermittent, now all the time, spoke to Hotpoint and they say its likely to be the thermostat, sounds like a common problem can anyone confirm?
