EGYPT - carrying a concealed weapon?

Question

I will be traveling to Egypt this Saturday and was wondering what there law's are reguarding carrying a concealed weapon? Not a gun, i was just wondering if i am allowed to carry a knife on me? If so, are there certain size requirements? If you could tell me anything i need to know, as far as saftey and protection goes, please let me know!

No. in Egypt you are not allowed to carry knives, this is 3-6 month in jail.

This is the law, is it applicable, I am not sure. but this was your question.

I think a swiss knife should be ok (the one which has other options in it). as long as you are not going to wave it in people faces in the street.

Other weapons that are not criminalised yet you can use are : Eye Laser beam (Superman's), Spider webs, Bat Flying thingy (batman).

you can carry a knife or a cutter, if only your job requires carrying it,, ,, you can also carry a small knife like the Swiss army knife, if it can be used with others to cut nails, open a can,, a normal knife in the pocket (weapon) will not be allowed in any hotel, most of the public  places in  Egypt have a metal's detector,, it will be seized immediately , and can subject the Holder to 6 months in Jail,,and that is also applied in all kind of self defense  like the spray, electric shock ...
