Has anyone eaten at or heard what El Magueys Mexican restaurant is doing about the SAMANELLA TOMATO issue??

Because they do use fresh tomatos for their salsa and mix it daily... we cant trust asking the manager/workers we know... their english is very bad! They just nod and smile half the time!!!

  1. Im not really sure but I do know that the taco bells in kansas city are now using missouri grown farm tomatos so maybe that's what they are doing. I know exactly what you mean about them they need to take some english lessions.

  2. ?, I've located a local list of restaurants that might help. You can drill down the Kansas results by cities nearby to you. If you phone a few of the restaurants you can narrow down wich one would work best for you. http://www.restaurantreviewsratings.com/...

  3. The FDA has declared that tomatoes are safe for restaurants to be serving once again. They have narrowed down the possible sources of contamination and they are no longer being distributed within the United States. I have been to a few restaurants in recent weeks and have had no problem with tomatoes anywhere and neither has any else I know. You are safe!

  4. They only buy from local farmers and tomatoes off the vine which have been proven not to have salmonella
