ELI (vs wash) or Rivers (vs Car)?

Something tells me ELi doesnt do much vs wash...just dont know that i can trust Rivers yet....Thoughts?

first off im not takin anything away from the giants superbowl victory but the eli u saw in playoffs and sb is not the eli u saw during last years regular season and not the eli ull see this regular season, eli manning did not win the sb for the giants, the giants defense did in stopping the patriot offense, eli is not a stable qb to start, i personally think rivers will get more done even though its against a tough carolina defense

i love the giants and all but come on that miracle catch by tyree was literally a miracle, eli threw the ball up for grabs and tyree was able to get the ball, would u put ur trust into a qb like that...eli's overrated but the giants defense isnt..... just sayin...dont listen to all these bandwagon fans who all of a sudden love eli and the giants cuz eli is not a good qb, dont forget the eli u saw last season before playoffs, eli is a really risky choice, put ur trust in cocky rivers hes more stable at least

I think it could go either way but I think you might be able to get more points by putting Eli against Washington.

Both aren't really all that great of choices. I'd expect both teams to probably run the ball a lot...especially in the Red Zone. I guess I'd go with Manning just because he has Burress.

I pick Eli.  Rivers in comparison is not better than Eli. I think Rivers is ok, but when you look at what Eli was able to do last year, he was one of the key reasons why the Giants won the super bowl and even made it that far.  Rivers on the other hand, well he can get quite cocky and he is not all that consistent.  Manning isn't that consistent either, however one thing is true, when he is on his game, then he can't be stopped.  I think he will do better than Rivers will this week.
