  1. to be honest just walk away from her.

or just tell her shes embarassing you, tell her that and if she cared she would stop for you sake:)

  2. You, at your age, think EVERYTHING"S EMBARRASSING!!!!!

It's a wonderful feeling not to care about what other people think!!!

Why are you embarrassed??!!!!!   Those people that look at your mother and maybe think she's crazy - YOU'LL NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN!!!!   It doesn't MATTER what they think!!!!   Even if your next door neighbor was there looking at your mom dance, it still doesn't matter!!

What matters is that your mom is a very happy person!!   She could be sick with cancer, not care about taking you shopping, a million other things.   BE HAPPY FOR HER!!!

  3. You should be honest with her but nicely!

  4. Don't tell her you are ashamed of her, just say that it kinda embarrasses you because no one else does that.

  5. sounds like your mom is having fun and like to have a good time.  You  may feel uncomfortable when she  acts like a kid but I would rather have a mom who is happy and free to express herself  rather than one who yells and ignores you.  be glad you have a mom.  Many young women asr not as lucky.

  6. Your mom sounds pretty cool to me.......you should just accept her for being the way she is.  She's the only one you'll ever have and when she's gone, you'll wish that she could dance at walmart

  7. Tell her it has nothing to do with being ashamed of her. Remind her that you are a teenager and ask her if she would have been embarrassed if her mom did that when she was a teenager.

  8. I would not use the word ashamed just say it makes you uncomfortable or embarrassed but add that it would make you feel the same if anyone with you acted this way.

When we would go shopping if my siblings and I started arguing or begging for things my mom would start singing opera, seriously. It was so embarrassing we would stop immediately. Now that I am a mother I find it hysterical and a pretty smart way to get your kids to behave.

My mom was a lot like your mom, funny and care free. She died 10.5 years ago. Enjoy her while you have her even in her embarrassing moments. Because if I could have her back I would sing opera with her in the store LOL

  9. Hi

I understand how your feeling, Just be honest with her sit her down and explain how embarrassing it is to you, try not to be nasty about it just tell her nicely. :) Your not wrong to be "ashamed" because heaps of people feel the same way about their parents!

And..She was your age once so she should understand. Don't worry about it :)

    Good luck

  10. You'll grow out of being embarassed by her. I used to get embarassed by my mom doing anything stupid. And now I just laugh at her.

Be lucky that your mom is cool to do that.

There are lots of stuck up moms that don't do anything fun. Don't be afraid of what other people are going to think.

  11. Dont tell her your ashamed just tell her that her dancing is just a little embarrassing and you rather she didnt do it.

  12. Tell her it's embarrassing and any other normal person wouldn't behave that way in public. Tell her to behave like a Mother !!

  13. It's natural for someone your age to be embaressed by your mum. When she asks you 'are you ashamed'. maybe just say 'no, im just a bit embaressed!' embaressed is a much nicer, kinder word than ashamed. She's only dancing after all, she's a fun mum! be proud!
