EMERGENCY! I'm freaking out! GIRLS only?

Question

I am 13. I got my period 10 days ago. I was done on the 7th day. But now I just got it again. 3 days after I was done! Why would it come so soon? For the 8th and 9th day I had no blood! But now it's really heavy. Do I have a disease? Should I go to a doctor? I don't want to talk to my mom. HELP!

Sadly, being a woman comes with its downfalls.  One of them being a period.  I had a period that lasted a full 18 days one time.  Most likely it either has to do with hormones or if by some off chance you are actually taking birth control at 13, it could be caused by that if the dosage isn't right for your body.  Also, low iron can be a culprit.  When you have low levels of iron your periods can be much heavier or even last longer.  I wouldn't worry too much but if it continues for a couple of months go to the OBGYN and get yourself checked out!!

Dont worry, it's completely normal to get your period 2 times a month. It happens to me all the time, especially when it was light that month. There's nothing wrong with you. E-mail me if you have any more questions. Hope this helps!

It's actually normal to have your period twice a month, sometimes. I know it makes no sense...

its normal, don't get worrying please. It can take a couple of years to become regular, some months you might have more than one other months it might not come

it's normal for your period to be irregular when it starts.  Give it time, and it should eventually be regular.  May take a couple of months or a year.

It alright dont worry this also happened to me so I know exactly what you are feeling.

It is veryyy extremely normal for your periods to come back to back when you are first starting. Some girls are regular from the beginning while others are very erratic.

Its ok please dont worry. Just do what you have to do (pads, tampons)

and everything will be alright.

that happens when u first get it, it will be choppy and unpredictable for a while...but soon (if ur lucky) u can predict exaclty when ur going to get it...i promise ur not sick...went thought the sammmme thing. I am extremely shy and never like to tell my mother anything about me...but try to confide sometimes in her...she knows a lot!
