  1. the obd2 system your car has is very easy to check.take it to your local advance auto and get it scanned for free.  


  2. When the check engine light comes on it means 1 or more of about 50 parts is not working properly ...most likely the O2 sensor or the MAF sensor

  3. So..find your favorite shop, let them scan for codes, let them fix.

    That's not too hard.
