EPL Breaking News: Fulham star striker Bobby Zamora out for four months
Fulham’s goal machine, Bobby Zamora, has been confirmed with a broken ankle and would be facing at least 4 months on the side line. The player was roughly tackled in Fulham's 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The forward was tackled by Wolves Captain Karl Henry and suffered heavy damage to his right leg. The player was stretchered off the field and received oxygen before reaching the hospital. Newly signed Fulham coach, Mark Hughes, has confirmed that the player may well be out for atleast four months.
"If the injury is as we think it is, it's likely to be four months. If the surgeon goes in tomorrow and finds other damage rather than just the break, which is four centimetres above his ankle, it will be even longer than that”, claimed the concerned manager.

The player had only recently earned a new four year 50,000 pounds a week contract last week and earned his first English Cap. The player was on a roll last season, as he helped underdogs Fulham reach the Europa league final. Zamora scored 8 goals in Europe last season and has scored a total of 26 goals in 96 appearances for the London club.
The news will create a lot of concern for manager Mark Hughes, as the boss recently outlined the player’s importance to the outfit. Fulham have had a slow start to the season and only managed their first league win of 2010.
Since the departure of manager Roy Hodgson to Liverpool, Fulham has struggled to gain form. However, the side under Hughes looks threatening and was able to hold off 18 times English Champions Manchester United to 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage.
The length and extent of injury would only be revealed in due time, following tests and other information.
