EPL News: Carlos Tevez says thank you very much to Manchester City as he hands in transfer request
Manchester City's Argentine captain, Carlos Tevez has gone ahead and shocked the club by handing in an official transfer request. The player who joined City after spending a brilliant season with arch rivals Manchester United, has handed in the transfer
request formally and City are currently declining to make any comments on the situation.
Tevez, managed to miss City's victory last night when the team went on to beat a struggling West Ham United by three goals to one, due to suspension. However Tevez has managed to be the stand out performer for City ever since he joined the club, having scored
thirty three goals in just fifty league appearances for the team.
Nonetheless the 26-year-old player had in the past expressed his desires to leave the team, but then stated that a return to South America seemed a little unreasonable. However the player also later stated at one point that he was so disappointed with the
way his football career was going, that he was on the verge of calling it quits his footballing career altogether.
Tevez cost City around twenty six million pounds, when they signed him. However with the player handing in his transfer request it seems like the rest of Europe is going to go on high alert to sign one of the best strikers in the world at the moment and
as a result City are bound to even potentially make a profit of the players transfer, if he does end up leaving the club that is.
Tevez in simple words is a workaholic, it doesn't matter what team he plays on as long as he plays. However the player seemed to be getting sick and tired of the way he was being treated at the club and often stated that the disrespect that the younger players
at the club showed to him was getting on his nerves. Now however all of that seems not matter anymore as the Blue part of Manchester are now almost guaranteed to lose the biggest player on their roster.
