Ancelotti had also time to articulate his thoughts on the Ballon D'Or saga and who according to him should win it. He pointed it out that it was major biasness against Diego Milito to be excluded from the nomination list as he clearly should have won the award.
He admitted that the 31-year-old Argentine player had played amazingly last season and his form had continued in the present, hence his omitting blew him away when he heard about it.
On the topic he expressed, “It's an injustice Milito not being on the list. I would have given it to him.”
On the Kaka and the Real Madrid issue, he stated that the former winner will have a chance to prove himself again after he regains fitness. The Brazilian world class player is currently suffering from a knee injury which has kept him out
of play for most of the footballing season.
He is set to make a return and play for Bernabeu in January or early February, right around the when the winter transfer window will arrive. His has led to other big clubs showing interest in signing him.
