EPL News: Liverpool given more bad news once again
Liverpool, who seemed to finally have put an end to their bad season are back to their best once again. The team has suffered a major blow in the shape of a serious injury to their veteran defender Jamie Carragher.
Carragher managed to go ahead and dislocate his shoulder in the game that Tottenham played against Liverpool. Despite taking the lead in the game Liverpool went on to lose the game by a score line of two goals to one.
However the defeat was also barred by the injury to Carragher who is now rumoured to be out of action for at least the coming month.
Roy Hodgson when asked about the player’s injury was reported to have said: "We think Jamie has dislocated his shoulder which is a real blow for us and for him”
"I don't know at this stage how long Jamie will be out for but I would think it will be quite long because it's a serious injury.
"It's an unfortunate thing to happen on his 450th appearance in the Premier League.
"It is a blow for us. Daniel Agger is still out injured and we are not really that well blessed for centre-halves.
"We are now without Steven Gerrard and Jamie for a period of time -- both of whom are the lifeblood of this club."
Carragher managed to get injured near the end of the game. However as soon as he departed from the pitch, Tottenham managed to score the winning goal to add insult to injury.
"We think Jamie has dislocated his shoulder which is a real blow for us and for him," Hodgson said.

Liverpool need to get their act together as soon as they can, because if the teams star and veteran players manage to get injured, with the team already struggling then it is safe to say that the sudden peak in Liverpool’s form would disappear
faster than the surge in form.
That would and could prove to be lethal for the team at this point in the season, as they would be looking to go into the winter break in a significantly comfortable position as compared to the one that they are in at the moment.
This happens to be one of the toughest EPL competition yet and many managers have recognized that so in order for Liverpool to succeed they will have to use their rejuvenating striker Fernando Torres with Steven Gerrard as the fulcrum
and Carragher for the propulsion of revival on field.
