EPL News: Manchester City readying colossal bid for Gareth Bale
Gareth Bale, who has managed to go from being a relatively unknown to being one of the hottest talents in the world, has at the same time also managed to become part of almost every teams wish list. One of the teams that has also included his name among
their wish list is none other than Manchester City.
City who are well known for getting their man once they target him are now looking to make Tottenham Hotspurs an offer that they just can't refuse. The team is looking to offer around sixty million pounds to the South London team, for their most sought after
player. That is a price that will cause even the greatest of teams to think twice about whether to let go off their player.
City are going to be looking to offer around fifty million pounds of that fee in cash, while they will be looking to add another ten million by offering Emmanuel Adebayor as part of the deal.
With Tottenham desperately in need of a striker and Adebayor desperately wanting to move away from the team, it seems like a move that couldn't get any better. Not only will Tottenham receive a handsome sum of money for a player that they can replace, but
they will also be getting a quality striker for practically nothing.
The only hindrance in the deal at the moment seems to be Gareth Bale himself. The player before putting pen to paper to sign any contract would have to consider his future as well. City have become more than well known for wasting countless players careers
and Bale would not want to be one of those players. While on the other hand he seems to be on the verge of becoming a legend at White Hart Lane.
However if Tottenham tell Bale that they no longer need his services, then he would have no choice but to leave for City.
On the other hand it is now a wait to see whether the team will be looking to make the move in January or will decide to wait till the summers to see the move go through.
