EPL News: Manchester City to go spending again, Hulk to play in England
Manchester City, the team that went on and left the likes of Real Madrid behind, when they took on the transfer market this past summer seem to be looking to get back at it as soon as possible. Despite bringing in countless world class
players, the team has failed to play up to its expectations and Roberto Mancini the teams manager, is looking to go right back at it and throw around heaps of cash in the January transfer window to get things right once again.
This time around the team is looking to land a quality striker to partner Carlos Tevez upfront at the Eastlands. The player that the team seem to have settled on is none other than Porto's ace striker Hulk. Hulk whose real name is Givanildo
Vieira de Souza, has managed to catch the City manager's eye, after going on to score sixteen goals in the Portuguese league so far. As a result of the strikers brilliant performances Porto now have a ten point lead in their domestic league. City are looking
to tap into that form and hope to bring the same success to the Eastlands this coming January.
The team's primary target was Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko but the heft fifty million price tag that the German team put on their captain seemed to be a little too much, even for the likes of Manchester City and as a result the team is looking
to land Hulk instead. Hulk is by no means going to be coming cheap for the team as he would cost around the region of twenty million pounds according to the experts. However twenty million seems to be nothing more than loose change at Manchester City these
days.
The move has also taken a step in the positive direction for City as Hulk's agent has gone to the media and stated that his client is currently looking to perform in the top league in the world and that just so happens to be the English
Premier League. With all the signs pointing in the right directions, it won't be surprising to see Hulk run havoc in the Premier League come this January.
