EPL News: Manchester City’s skipper Carlos Tevez confirms he will stay loyal to Eastlands (Part 1)
The Argentinean striker of Manchester City, Carlos Tevez has finally revealed that the issues between him and Eastlands have been resolved. Therefore, the skipper will stay loyal to the Blue part of Manchester for now.
In a dramatic turn of events the captain of Light Blues, Tevez came out and committed his future to Blues with negotiations delivering a “clear the air talks” aura. The manager of Manchester City, Italian Roberto Mancini has also
confirmed that his star striker will be staying for this season.
This unexpected change of climate inside the Manchester City boardroom came when it was informed Tevez had withdrawn his official notice for his transfer. In a media release, club officials informed that Tevez was “expressing his
absolute commitment to the club.”
It was just about a week ago; it was jump from the end of the world for Tevez if he continued to play in the English Premier League and with Manchester City. He had handed in a formal transfer request to the club and had explained that reasons for the demand
were personal.
He also described that the working conditions at the club had become unbearable and he wanted to leave. It was no secret that Tevez was having communication problems with the manager of the club Mancini.
Their on field quandary was witnessed by everyone, but it was the locker room bust up, later, that made matters worse. Nonetheless, when the departure of Tevez was addressed the coveted striker stated that it was not because of
Mancini that he was having troubles in playing but because of other officials in the club.
Later, sources confirmed that the player was having troubles with board members and higher officials. This caused a lot of hassle within the ranks, even causing disruption in the smooth campaign of Manchester City.
Tevez had been troubled with playing for the archrivals of his former team Manchester United for some time now; however, the problems were not loyalty related. As a matter of fact, they were more on a personal level.
