EPL News: Sagna looking to give Gallas something to remember on pitch
Bacary Sagna the man of the hour at the Emirates has gone ahead and stated a warning to former team mate for both club and country, William Gallas that he should be prepared to face a ready to go Arsenal this Saturday when the two teams
face each other in Premier League.
However Sagna went ahead and stated that despite the players looking to go at each other on pitch, once the game comes to a close they are back to being friends again.
Sagna is reported to have said: "On the pitch there is a war, but off the pitch we are all friends."
When Arsenal do take on Tottenham this weekend, it would be the first time that former Arsenal captain William Gallas would be returning to the Emirates after joining local city rivals, Tottenham. The move when completed went down as one
of the most controversial in recent history and it is safe to say that the fans will give the French man a piece of their mind once he does make the long awaited return.
When Sagna was asked about how he felt when he found out that his former team mate joined Tottenham, he was reported to have said: "I'm not angry at him because he signed for our rivals" "He was always very professional (here) and he always
gave everything.”
"Football is football; I'm not furious against him. He needed to leave to play football and that is what he loves."
That being said the clash between Arsenal and Tottenham is scheduled to be one of the best games to be played in the Premier League this weekend. Both Arsenal and Tottenham are currently doing tremendously well in the League and in all
major cup competitions and a win over the local city rivals is something that would truly give the winning team the extra push and surge of motivation to perform even better in the future.
Sagna who scored a cracker of a goal this past weekend against Everton is also scheduled to be back to his best when he takes on the likes of Gareth Bale.
