EPL News: Sir Alex Ferguson rules out retirement due to boredom
Manchester United's most successful manager, Sir Alex Ferguson has gone ahead and stated that he does not wish to retire in the near future, as he feels retirement is nothing more than a young man's game. The manager has been a United
boss since the early days of 1986 a time forth which the Scotsman has changed the club status to legendary.
In a recent interview the manager when asked about his future and retirement possibilities was reported to have said: “Retirement is for young people, I’m too old to retire. I would have nothing to do. As long as my health is good I will
carry on. My family will make this decision.”
The manager has clearly managed to take a giant U-turn from being on the verge of retirement to stating that he would carry on till his health gave way.
However the manager had much more to reflect on in the interview. He went on to talk about how the modern game of football had changed and with it, the mentality and attitudes of the players also seemed to have taken a toll for the worse.
His words on the situation were: “I’ve mellowed a great deal. The world has changed and so have players’ attitudes. I’m dealing with more fragile human beings than I used to be. They are cocooned by modern parents, agents, even their own image at times.”
“They need to be seen with their tattoos and earrings. It’s a different world for me so I have had to adapt.”
“There is nothing wrong with losing your temper if it’s for the right reasons. But I never leave it until the next day. I don’t believe in that.”
The manager despite having aged tremendously over the last two decades at United still seems to have the same attitude and mindset about how the game needs to be played. This way of thinking has so far been played to his advantage as the
manager is the most successful in the history of the Premier League. Many of the team’s fans and players dread to think about the day when the manager would finally call it quits on his glorious career as a United manager.
That being said, if Ferguson can have his way then it is safe to say that he won't be going anywhere in the near future at least.

club, it is safe to say he made history. Ferguson will strongly be hoping to repeat the same success with Lindegaard as well.
