That is another sign that Grant has been unsuccessful in controlling his players and that the time for Cole with Hammers has ended. So far Grant has approached to the situation without commenting but sooner or later he will have to face
up to the dilemma.
Experts and pundits are also predicting that Hodgson or some other manager will soon swoop in for players from West Ham United as the club is bound to get relegated this season after their under par performances.
Media reports have revealed that a lot of managers are reviewing the situation at West Ham United rather closely. So it is expected that a lifeline to Cole’s career will be thrown in soon enough.
It is predicted that price of Cole will be in a range between 8 million Pounds to 13 million Pounds which is just affordable for Liverpool who will be on a tight leash from their new owners New England Sports Ventures.
Though the Red Sox owners had earlier stated that they will be investing in the club till they were back to winning trophies but that has not been the case and that has been relayed as impression for the winter transfer window.
In all this fiasco there is another solution for Liverpool too and that is to take advise from the Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish who is managing their Youth Academy. He earlier stated that Reds are indeed grooming some extremely talented
players from within. So a few players can be tested from there or at least they can be specially groomed so that they are up and running in a year or two.
The pressure seems to be mounting on Hodgson day by day after his team presents with results worst than before and some say he might be sacked soon unless he provides a solution.
Ties between the owners and Hodgson have strained over the past couple of weeks. There were rumours earlier that Hodgson will win the sack race in English Premier League but he hasn’t, however he still remains as a strong candidate as
the next manager to be shown the exit door.
There are suggestions afloat that Dalglish the man who was earlier helping in finding a new manager in the summers should be given a chance. Dalglish was also against the appointment of Hodgson but later he made peace with it while shaking
Hodgson’s hand.
If answers don’t come soon Liverpool is soon going to be looking for a new manager and with him a new team is expected to fill in the gaps. Like Cole’s recent rumours there have been many other well known forwards that have been associated
with a move to Anfield in recent times.
The list includes players like the Brazilian legend Ronaldinho, French prodigy Karim Benzema, Swiss Johan Elamander from Bolton Wanderers, Ashley Cole from Aston Villa and many more.
