EPL Transfer Update: Arsenal ready to sign in Japanese prodigy Ryo Miyaichi
The Gunners have indeed announced that they will sign in the Japanese forward Ryo Miyaichi. In a press release, Arsenal officials announced that the club is set to ink a deal with the youngster this fall.
Later, reports have also confirmed that the prodigal Japanese will be playing in the North Londoners’ jersey after this January transfer window. Hence, the player will be pledging new allegiance by the January of 2011.
Reliable sources have revealed that the transfer fee and wages have already been decided for the 18-year-old and now it is just a wait to the winter transfer window.
This latest signing has indeed surprised many experts, as a striker was the last thing Arsenal needed at the club. Arsenal are already plentiful in the attacking department as they have the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380,
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aaron-Ramsey-c3065.
Arsenal, in fact were expected to sign in a new goalkeeper as their first choice http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Almunia-c23386 will definitely be sent off this season because the player can no longer be entrusted to keep the ball from netting.
Although their second choice http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukasz-Fabianski-c22910 has shown some good performances, but he is far from being recognized as the number one glove-man. In light of this, goalkeeper should be Gunners number one priority.
Even if they hadn’t opted for a new goal keeper they should have strengthened their poor defence, but Wenger has yet again confounded everyone and failed to produce reason in signing Ryo apart from the fact that the Japanese youngster
is talented, therefore an asset.
Ryo is currently playing in the All http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 and
join the Gunners.
On the issue the Frenchman, Wenger stated, “I am delighted Ryo will be joining us in the New Year.”
He added, “He trialled with us in the summer and has raw ability which has attracted many clubs around the world. I look forward to helping him fulfill his potential here at Arsenal.”
