EPL round up: Liverpool and Manchester City

The right back has settled very nicely into Liverpool’s new 3-5-1-1 formation, where he plays as a wing back. The 21-year-old has the dual responsibilities
of attacking as well as defending on the right hand side and has so far managed those responsibilities to perfection.
Manchester City
Manchester City’s veteran midfielder Shaun Wright-Philips is tipped to fill the boots of the now injured Adam Johnson. The England international suffered an ankle issue while training for City and is likely to remain out of action for the remainder of the
2010-11 season.

“He has trained exceptionally well as he has done all season. He gives you a lot of pace and attacking ability. We are not stupid enough not to realise he might be important to us between now and the end of the season,” added the coach.
Manchester City head into a tough fixture on the weekend, as they face archrivals and neighbours Manchester United at Old Trafford. Last time these two sides met was in November 2010 and there was nothing to choose between the sides.
However, with both teams looking to down each other, an attacking formation can be expected from both the managers.
