EPL transfer news: Luka Modric denies transfer rumours
The charismatic midfielder of Tottenham Hotspur, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857 has shunned all speculations linking him with a possible transfer.
In a recent press release, the attacking midfielder stated that he was utterly tired of news relating him to joining Italian, Spanish and other English Premier League clubs.
Previously Juventus, Barcelona and Chelsea had been in the race for signing the midfielder.
Modric has proved himself an integral part of White Hart Lane over the years. His consistent performance has helped the Whites to progress quickly and evolve as major competitors in the EPL. This is the main reason why other clubs are looking forward to
rope in the player.
Despite high salaries and fame, Modric has denied any commitments or negotiations with other clubs. He also denied that he would he leaving Spurs in the January 2011 transfer window.

The Croatian international has been in top form since the 2009-10 season. He has even developed a new tactical play in the midfield. This strategic game play has assisted him in becoming the bond between wings and midfield hence increasing the productivity
of strikers.
This ultimately caused the North-London club to show amazing form in the 2010-11 season. Envying their success, Manchester United, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Barcelona have all tried to sign the player but without luck as the manager of Spurs, Harry Redknapp is a hard
man to persuade.

The 25-year-old player inked a new deal with Spurs in 2010, hence a move at this point is very unlikely because of the hyped up price. Also, the deal intends to keep Modric on contract with the club for a whopping 6 years, making a move out of White Hart Lane
very unlikely.

While talking to media, Modric said, “There's no truth in all these rumours. The only truth is that I'm a Tottenham player and I'm happy to be where I am. I'm fully focused on my job.”

He concluded by saying, “My future? Who knows what the future will bring, but I'm a Tottenham player and I'm happy to be at White Hart Lane.”
