I have no idea where she could be!!!!!

Im scared half to death here!!

She isnt big at all [shes still kinda young] and she can easily fit into small places, so I checked every possible small area in my bedroom

  1. Look in warm places like the other person recommended. You might also try turning on a reading light or lamp that she can go under but not touch. Maybe some sort of desk light? The heat from it might draw her out.

Hope you find her and good luck =)

  2. i have ball pythons too

try looking in places that are warm and dark!

omfg if my babies got lost I'd freak out

Try looking in closets and under electronics devices that let out heat (like a fridge, under is warm and dark)

  3. Look i nall the warm places in the house (also dark spaces), so the heater, radiators, undernith your bed, in your dresser/underneith.

And everyoen shut up about how gross snakes are, If you dont liek em why the h**l are you even on the reptiles page? snakes are actually very cool animals

    Hope you find him soon,

    Adam

  4. eewww at snakes..i hope shes not

imagine that having a snake pet?!urghhh

id neverrrrrrrr pet those kinda reptile lol..

btw its URGENT not ERGENT and its PANICKING not

    PANICING lolol..

good luck and i hope youd find her till

    its not too late!

  5. next time reconsider buying a snake- but know maybe put some food out! i ahve no idea i HATE snakes

  6. You need people to help you search. She could be inactive for days.

Ours was in the pipe cavity and very cold when we found her after 4 weeks.

  7. You can try building a bottle trap using a 2 liter bottle.  Cut the top off and reverse it so that the small opening is inside the bottle making a funnel. Make sure the opening is just large enough for your snake to fit in because you're going to bait the trap with a hot f/t pinky or fuzzy...whatever you're feeding her.  Place the trap along the wall somewhere and if she goes in and eats, she will not be able to get out.  You can also use tape such as low stick painter's blue tape and put the sticky side up so that she gets caught in it.  Vegetable oil will allow it to come off easily if it doesn't just come off using gentle pressure.  Look around the cage itself. Many times they stay in the direct area, even under the tank itself.  Although balls aren't climbers, there's always a chance that she went upwards so check everywhere even if you think it's improbable.  My snakes are fully contained in the room they are in and I always keep the door closed to avoid having to search an entire house.  I've never had one go permanently missing though. I'm sure you'll find her. She'll be fine until then. Just keep checking everywhere...even places you already looked. They tend to hide in clothing piles, drawers, behind furniture...in furniture...anywhere they can fit.

  8. yea def look around any heat sources and flip your furniture upside down and look in every nook and cranny.. my ball got out one time and i found her up in the reclining chair in the back...

  9. Look near any heat sorces. Under the furnace and hot water heater, near vents, around electrical units and lamps. Anywhere that creates heat will draw your snake.

Also look in the couches and stuff.

Don't worry, snakes can live a long time on their own, and usually reappear.

I lost my 200$ baby boa right after I got her. FREAKED OUT! Well, one month later, I was in the basement, and looked over, and there she was, just sitting out in the open on top of another tank we have.

So don't worry, You will find her

EDIT: Everyone else, way to be inconsiderate and RUDE. If you hate snakes so much, don't answer!! This person obviously loves snakes and probably doesn't want to hear you complain about and critisize their pet!! ESPECIALLY if said pet is missing. Have a LITTLE consideration for others. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean others don't, and shouldn't. I HATE whiny little girls that complain about how icky and gross snakes are. Sound familiar?

I was VERY sad when my snake got lose, and I cried several times because it was all my fault! (You think you are bad for leaving the cage unlocked? I fell asleep on the couch while holding mine, and that is how she got away...)
