ERR Disk DVD Player?

Question

I just baught a brand new DVD player. when I put a dvd in the player it starts to try to read it then it says: err disc. It just won't work can you help me?

If you're getting an error message then your set up is correct, so try a different disc.  If you try a couple different discs and it still doesn't work, there's something wrong with it, just return it to the store you bought it from and get a new one.

Make sure the disk type you are reading is compatible with the player. There's +R, -R not to mention +RW and -RW disks. If it's a copy protected disk like a movie you will need an application (like WinDVD) to play it.
