I agree with these 10 Trilogies that ESPN listed. Do you? Here is the list:

1. Ali vs Frazier

2. Zale vs Graziano

3. Morales vs Barrera

4. Ross vs McLarnin

5. Griffith vs Peret

6. Patterson vs Johannson

7. Ali vs Norton

8. Bowe vs Holyfield

9. Carbajal vs Gonzalez

10. Gatti vs Ward

I would add these two fights in the list and replace two out of the list with: Marquez vs Vasquez and Pacquaio vs Morales

Any Thoughts?

  1. walcott - charles deserves honourable mention (even though they met 4 times) , as does duran - de jesus

  2. I'm not doing a list but my favorite of all time is Bowe-Holyfield.  It's rare that you see 2 heavyweights going to war like they did and they did it 3 times.

  3. Not a bad list, but I think Morales-Barrera, as great as those fights were, is slightly higher than what I would rank it.

  4. Good choices all around.  Im glad to see that the Gatti-Ward trilogy made the list.  Never have I seen two fighters eat more leather than in those matches.

  5. Morales vs Barrera, these two guys r stupid from these two fights......

  6. That pretty much covers it, it's pretty hard to argue with the list, I agree but would rank both Bowe/Holyfied and Carbajal/Gonzalez higher than they did.

  7. WALCOTT vs. CHARLES

    ALI vs. LISTON

    MARCIANO vs. CHARLES

These need to be in there

  8. I agree for the most part. I don't think I would add the Pacquiao Morales trilogy just because the last one was so lopsided toward Pacman. The last one was really bad Morrales should never have even been in there it wasn't even competitive. Maybe add Sugar Ray Leonard vs Roberto Duran. Shame that Castillo vs Corrales didn't go for 3 because that would be up there for sure.

  9. good list and i think marquez vs vazquez will be on that list soon
