ESPN NFL 2K5: How do you put items in your crib?

I have ESPN NFL 2K5 for the PlayStation 2. When I buy something from the crib catalogs, how do you put the items you bought in your crib? For example, I bought a team pennant and I need to find out how to hang it on the wall. It gives me a little map thing that says like "Living Room Wall #3" and "Floor Space #11" and stuff like that. I have heard that the Xbox version puts your purchased items in automatically. Just the simplest explanation will earn you an easy 10 points, just please help!

all you have to do is press start in the crib, go to crib items, use the l and r thingies to switch through rooms and go left and right for what you want where
