this has gone way out of hand. every espn show focusing ad nauseum on favre coming and going... i listen to mike and mike in the morning on espn radio an the last 4 weeks have been all favre all the time. this morning was a 3 hour show about favre going to the jets its deserved maybe 30 mins tops. there are other things going on in the world of sports. olympics, 5 mlb penannt races, other nfl training camps, college football warming up, UGA suspending players , golf, the presidential elections.

Favre leaving the packers is a story just not as important as it has been made out to be

  1. There are so many other things I'd like to know about football other than the life of Favre. In addition to the things you've listed, I'd like to know:

How's Peyton Manning's recovery going? As well as the rest of the team?

Will Notre Dame's football team be terrible again this year?

And that's only the start of it. I'd like to hear a lot more than that. But ESPN and NFL Network are completely consumed with #4 for today, which is a real shame since there are other things happening in football and other sports.

  2. I am, I cant watch ESPN or NFL Network.

  3. ESPN's made the Brett Favre situation pretty much their only NFL story. It's very agitating.

  4. Yea, it's absolutely crazy ....and I'm a big packers and favre fan!

The media made such a big deal out if it, to the point that it's ridiculous!

  5. THANK YOU!!! Finally somebody agrees with me!!!!

  6. here here

  7. Amen Brother!!!

i get it is a big story but enough already.

sadly it aint over!!  they still have 2 or 3 weeks to  beat this dead horse!!

  8. It amazes me that someone on ESPN hasn't said, "Why don't we shut the **** up about this guy and move on".

  9. Yet you spend 4 weeks listening mike and mike talk about farve, including 3 hours today. and continue to watch Epsn and its on going coverage.  and even choose to take some time to go on yahoo answers and continue to and add to the farve talk by asking a question on yahoo answers.  If you dont like it then yes there are other things going on.  You can just choose not to watch espn,  or change toe radio station. and you certain dont have to ask question on yahoo answers.  I gaurantee you if people were truely sick of it and turning off their radio and changing channels then it would not continue.  The fact that everyone is paying attention and wanting info on the situation is what make this adding to the coverage.  Believe me if people didnt care, then it would not be covered.

  10. Hahaha... the presidential election?

I'd actually be in favor of an all-Favre network if it meant ESPN would go back to being an only-as-necessary Favre network...

  11. ESPN FAVRE! Hooray now they'll finally get rid of the ESPN Undefeated Patriots channel which never went on air!

  12. me to the point where i cant watch NFL Network, ESPN, or go onto espn.com. they act like favre is the only athlete on earth right now

  13. Sure it is. If you a Favre, Packer, or Jets fan it's important. If you dont want to see it, dont watch it!
