EST, ASVAB and MEPS Questions?

Question

Through horrible nerves I managed to score a 48 on the EST (practice test). Is this roughly the same score I would get on the ASVAB?

Do you take the ASVAB at MEPS or can I take it before I go to MEPS?

I don't think it makes a difference, but if it does I am looking to enlist in the Air Force.

Milittary.com has Three Full Versions of the ASVAB for practice and three Short Versions that will help alot. I know people who have scored really low on the practice and really high on the Actual test and the other way around.

Here where Im from I go to the marine base and take the asvab. However, many others take it at meps! and a 48 is not a good score for a good job! Practice up!!

I recently took the test at MEPS.  I believe that's the simplest way to do it.  Your recruiter can easily make arrangements.

Go to your local library and get all the books out you can on asvab and do all the practice tests....all of them over and over....

time yourself.  get to know the answers to the questions and your rhythms.  taking this test needs to become easy for you....so you can score the highest possible so you can choose the speciality you want, not from a limited number of mos'  occupational specialites.

This is a crucial life decision...and possibly life altering .  give it your best shot...and try to get a job/mos that will give you a security clearance...as they are worth upwards of $50,000...and make you eligible for great careers only for security clearanced people.

Roughly you'll score the same but the real test is longer and easier. You can take the test before you go to MEPS. Think that helps answer your question.

I took my asvab this past week my recruiter said they administer the test every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday locally .

i took the test a a few days before i went to meps

i don't know of anyone at my meps that took their test that day at meps.

of course i went on a sat and we got their at five in the morning,
