A millionare tory donor has put up the dosh to attempt to get a judicial review of G Browns insistance that no referendum in needed.

If they do not change the law then yes. While any legal challenge is in progress than everything should be halted. However I expect that Brussels will pay off the judges, if they can, just to have Brown throw away our freedom to a Europe that hates England anyway. Oh of course Brown id Scottish and that is why he is destroying England as fast a possible.

Its good news, we can only hope it works,but as there has been various legal challenges where the EU is concerned,all of which have failed.........I'm not holding my breath.

to get a referendum will be hard enough,

to win it as our Scottish friend says will mean us all getting off our backsides and putting our selves out to vote, this unwanted, undemocratic  and unworkable decision to sell us out behind our backs, Must be stopped, once and for all

It's really just a load of politics.  UK is going to become a leader in the EU and in order to do that we must get in, sign up and get on with it.

It's like this.  As a Celtic person myself, I know perfectly well that there was once a pan-European Celtic Culture - it's all there and there's much evidence of it.

The anti-Europeans do not want anyone to believe that there was ever a pan-European Celtic Culture or any other pan-European Culture for that matter.  They want everyone to think that the Island of Britain has had not ever had any connection with or been influenced by Europe.

Wrong.  The connection between the Island of Britain and Europe is very ancient and goes right back to the building of Stone Henge - all the evidence is there of people coming all the way from Celtic Switzerland and beyond.

We are Europans and given a chance the British will dominate the EU - the English Language for a start, widely spoken and preferred to French or German.

Let's just get on with it and ignore these little Englanders - these insignicant doormice.

The Tories have a long history of Royalist c**p and they are scared stiff of anything remotely associated with Revolutionary France and it's democracy.  It's because of the Tories that the Common people of Britain did not get the vote until 1928.  Just what are these people fighting for?  I'll tell you what, the death of the welfare state and an end of freedom.

i hate to be cynical but my mind isnt changed. i think all three are captains of the same boat. sailing the same course. the conservatives are only siding with the public because they know that by the time the election comes around it will be too late. the treaty will be set in stone. that was obviouse when after the con declaration the only one of the three that could act......the lib dems... jumped in support of labour to scupper a referendum. all three of those b@stards are selling us out. they are just acting out the usual deception to grab votes. a judicial revue will only last a few weeks. it wont stop any thing. it'll just have nuisance value. its the EU gravy train they are all after boarding. 'at any cost' even the sovreignty of our country.

to right. now we all need to get behind this and  see a referendum is achieved. once the vote is carried well then we all have to get behind the outcome.

however i am against the EUseless as it is in every way a mirror of the old USSR's policy.

we need to aid this bid for the  referendum in every way to come through and stop the EU dead in its tracks.
