Question:

EU Passport-no relations in Europe?

I was wondering if it is at all possible to obtain an EU passport if neither of my parents/grandparents were from an EU country. I want to try teaching jobs in western europe, but you are not allowed to without an EU passport. Problem is, I can't get an EU passport, so do you know of any other way I can get it other than having relations in europe?

Thanks

  1. To my knowledge no. If you were not born there, have parents. No.

Now if you apply to a school, they hire you and apply for a visa for you to work there, that is a way. Then after you have been there a while 5 or 7 yrs, you can apply for redency or becoming a citizen. Then you will have to give up you ami passport and get the one from which country you are in. No dual citizenship!

  2. The is no EU passport!

Europe consists of 46 individual countries, each one issuing passports to their citizens or new citizens after completed immigration process..
