  1. The E U needs Brittan more than Brittan needs the E U we do not have to come out but come on not all the treaty is good for Brittan so pick what is and bin the rest let us be leaders and not be followers and get rid of the M E P 'S and who ever gets your vote at the election should be your M P in Europe

  2. That was then, this is now. UK out of EU will go down the drain.

  3. For Englands sake, they'd do better without the EU.  It's the worst system I ever saw.  I'd like to see England be soverign as it was before.

  4. so the uk doesn't vote on european matters thats the first i heard of it

  5. No mate it`s not just you.......i agree with you like the majority of the public.

    We should get out asap.

Very good Focal leat.........as far as i`m concerned the rest of the eu can feck off and die.

  6. Well we know that,  the Politicians love it,  aren't they all on some gravy train over there.

  7. Well, it's hard for England now to be the England that all the people knew !

Coming back to the history, England lost its major position in the world (1940's)

The WW2 and the end of colonialism era, made from U.K a weaker economical system, that pushed U.K to ask for help from the U.S that have realized that by The Recovory Program ( Marshall's aid ) that led in the nearest future to forming the OEEC (1950's). After few years OEEC became the begin of EU.

England made a lot to build the OEEC and the EU, and with out it, the EU would not exist.

At the beginig of the EU it was just an economical idea, in my opinion it was a great idea (1980's) that helped all the EU countries to stabilize their economical systems, but day after day the idea of the EU became a political deology by it self, in my opinion it was not a bad idea too ( ae it leads to integrations and liberalizm and tolerance between the pertners, it has reduced the hatress between germany and french that lasted for ages and now is desappeared ) but now its spreading every where, all the police men will have the same clothes and cars, the payments will be the same and even the rights and laws will be the same -no body is thinking that europian countries even if they laying near each other they have different traditions and its will be impossible to find the best solutions that may cheer everybody and that the law that works here wont work there at least from a ethic or moral views- and  minimalizing the soviregn of some countries (may be all of them ?!)...

I am seeing that most of the people dont like that France or Germany tells England what to do ! Its normal, but in the other hand is int it a form of Democracy?!

    Let's imagine a little now...

its the year 2030. The EU now is th emost powerfull union in the world, its has the largest army, the best economics and all the world is dreaming about EU so on... but england is not in the union !

I think a fact like this would make the people upset...

Coming back to the imperialc era...

The people got used to feel that they are the most powerful, that they can travel every where and speak ebglish cuz all the world speaks english too... But now its over... Sad but true...

The same what happened to the Russian's after the end of the comunizm...

Patience, tolerance, and love... That what i would sugest for the british...

    Max

  8. Yes!

  9. Even if the UK would be better without the EU, I think that it is too late now. The majority of the EU countries are so deeply in the system that it would be a real catastrophe it they decided to quit NOW.

  10. The EU is an unworkable nonsense. They will work it out in the end, but our masters just want to get on the gravy train while the going is good.

  11. We've gone as far as we should ever go into this nascent neo-communist state.  Coming out of it would be economically damaging - we'd lose the open borders which would increase the cost of trading with EU nations.

Remaining on the sidelines and retaining our national sovereignty and our autonomy, that's fine. We don't need to have our national affairs dictated by faceless suits in Brussels.

In the future there will be a need for a mediator between what the EU will become, and the USA.  We're ideally placed, geographically and politically (at the moment) to fulfil that role.  If we give up our autonomy we will compromise that position.  Who will do it then, good old super-trustworthy (not) Russia maybe?

  12. The rest of the EU would be glad to see the back of the UK.

  13. The EU is good in some regards.  The free trade and removal of countries boundaries is good for all our economies.  Also they have come up with some good ideas, top of which is the minimum wage.  Yep thats right the minimum wage wasn't the idea of the labour party they were told to do it.

However i think they are trying to take too much power in running our country, it should remain as it was set up which as an economic union which has helped to stabalise europe.  I don't want this country run from brussels and its starting to head that way which is going to be a negative impact on our country.

  14. Worth well or not, it is a social politic and worth trying. Changes in future are possible also.

  15. Alright, lets have a show of hands -

how many people here read the Daily Mail?

  16. I think the majority population agree with you. It's just that we have never been asked, nor are likely to be, it would seem. It has/is  helping to destroy Britain economically and socially. No messing about, lets get away from its control completely. We can trade with Europe without selling our country down the pan. To me, it beggars belief that anyone can think otherwise, particularly if you are not from the extreme left.

  17. I believe that its worthless as i prefer us to be separate form europe we where a great empire at one stage now we abide by european laws and what would our grandfathers and fathers say who went to war in 1 and 2 to keep this country british from german occupancy, now there is no war but we aint that same country we were back then!

  18. Yes it is only you.

Of course there are some problems, but the benefits far outweigh the costs.

For example, have you ever thought how we get all those cheap flights from companies like Ryanair - that's because of the EU Open Skies Treaty!

    Happy to help you out

    Philip

  19. Don't be so arrogant! We are not living in 1600 and there is no p****y anymore.if you know what I mean(UK can't steal and colonise).....UK will be f***d up without the EU

You won't be able to afford to buy  even a slice of bread

  20. You want out of Kyoto now the E U My God what will this yank have to fight about with the expat Brits? Please don't tell me you think Mr.Bush is a smart and good man, than all we can do is drink beer and look at one another and you Brits are ugly

  21. Its not worthless. The idea that you can go and work in Spain, Italy (lovely sun) or Norway (snow) automatically without having to go through a lengthy citizenship application is brilliant, so is the european driving licence. You can go driving in any EU country you like without worrying about wether you licence is valid.

European standards across industries allow you to get qualifications here and they are valid across all of Europe and carry the same weight.

The only problems we have is European law sticking its nose in here, telling us how to run our countries.

    Overall its worth it though.

  22. UK does not need the EU because it has a good economy and security of the country is not a problem.

  23. I am an American and I could not imagine surrendering my national identity to such a group. By that same reasoning I could not imagine anyone who is British thinking that taking marching orders from the French or Germans is a good idea.

  24. the e.u. method is just a different method of warfare, its the same as used by the roman empire, exept that its done by economic means instead of violence. it entices its victims ,like britain with the promise of riches then proceeds to suck the lifeblood out of the nation, britain has been bled ever since we joined it, but certain fims or individuals make money, but the nation looses big style.
