I remember in 1990's when I used to travel to Europe, states and most of the countries without any fear, everywhere was like my own home country UAE.

Last month I returned back from my long journey started from Europe, states, most Asian countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Sri lanka, India and Vietnam. The trip was for 45 days took me over several countries, I liked most of the countries I have visited. This wasn’t the problem.

THE PROBLEM is, I felt while I was in states and Europe that myself and my friends (Asians) were not welcomed in the US and Europe, there was a fear to visit most of the places, I tried to behave very carefully, also the group of Malaysian and Singaporean people notice that they were not welcomed..

The question is, will this continue forever? Will our children suffer from this in the future????

Where will our politics drive us in the future????

  1. I hope it doesn't continue forever.  I hope it stops immediately and I hope that everybody can start to accept everybody else as valuable human beings.

  2. Because Europe is a closed society and They have different morals, ethics, customs, beliefs, (this goes back to culture)

    and because outsourcing.

Outsourcing made lots of American and people of Europe lose their jobs.

  3. unfortunately alot of us US citizens feel the same way when we travel as well.  It's a d**n shame too.

  4. I don't know where this world is heading. I myself is Russian and travel to Europe quite frequently. I too have noticed this increased hostility towards foreigners. Especially in the U.S. I'm hoping that it's just because of the economic problems the U.S. is facing but it wouldn't explain why everyone else hates us too. I hope i'll get better, but somehow I doubt it.
