EVERYONE: do you prefer a light-skinned or a dark-skinned person?

I am statistically more attracted to light colored women.  I do like all women.  tall ones, short ones, dark ones ,light ones, big ones and little ones.

Me? Personally, I look at Tan guys! That makes them active and not lazy sitting on the couch allll Day long. If that makes anysense. lol

But, in general U R RIGHT.

The 1st thing u see at a person in all general is how they look. Then, normally u will get 2 know them. There inside. Usually if they r an ugly person and u LOVE there inside, u will become attracted 2 them.

We are attracted to what we find attractive in ourselves. So, on that note, color really is irrelevant. It's superficial to make a distinction. It's all about personal choice. But, I'm not so naive to realize that this really makes in difference in lots of other people. Sometimes people pick a certain type of person because of repressed fear for what they really are attracted to and this can cause misery later in life. Sometimes people pick a person based upon what is expected of them by family or their community. I live in a 98% white community. Some girls that I went to high school with left the community and have not been back because they are married or dating black men. I don't understand people's discrimination. We are all the same beneath our inherited pigmentation or lack thereof. I read something on the internet that said that there will be no "pure" races left on the Earth by 2100. We will all be mixed. So be it.

So, what kind of person did I pick? Both of our skin is white, but everything else about him is totally opposite from me. Or is he?

im attracted to people walking down the street no matter the color...but lately the only guys ive actually been intrested in (as in dating wise) are brown, so ya i guess im in the middle haha but its not because of their color, theyre just sweeter

I personally prefer light skin (but not too light) and dark hair. That would be my ideal, since I'm that way. But you never know with love.

And I don't think there is anything shallow with having personal preferences. We are not talking about giving employment to someone, we are talking about our partner in life. It should be someone we like, even their color.
