Question:

EWCM at 19 weeks pregnant...?

I am currently 19 weeks pregnant. This morning while going to the bathroom I noticed cervical mucus with the consistency of egg whites. I of course know that there is much more mucus during pregnancy, and have been experiencing that, but this is the first time I've had EWCM during my pregnancy. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced the same here and there throughout their pregnancy. It is not pink or bloody, so I'm not too worried, just found it strange.

Thanks in advance!

  1. That is not unusual. I have EWCM also, and am 3 weeks along. Good luck.

  2. Funny thing is I've never experienced EWCM in my life - it distressed me even when I was TTC. However, it didn't cause any problems. My fertile mucus was just very watery - not stretchy. At times during pregnancy I get *my* fertile mucus - the very slippery watery stuff - which can be confusing because sometimes I think it's my water breaking. However, most of the time it's more white in color. I'd say at about 18 or 19 weeks is when I noticed my mucus really picking up in abundance.
