Its a sad day. Luc Bourdon, the Canucks rookie D died today in a motorcycle crash!!! :(

i don't think it's just for vanucks fans. dreger just did an interview on the news station here about how this news is affecting the penguins who knew luc. i think a large majority of canadian hockey fans knew who this boy was and the first thing i thought of when i heard this was that i'm so glad he lived his life doing what he loved you know, and i don't consider the years i watched him playing hockey and growing up to be a waste at all (waste in that i get a lot of complaints for letting hockey rule my life). he was a really good guy. he's only a little bit older than me and he was one of my favourite hockey players hahaha not only because of his talent, or because he played hockey, but who he was as a person. a really resilient person.

Its A Very Sad Day Not Just For Canuck Fans but for the NHL.. He was a very talented player and he will be missed greatly.

He's up in heaven with Dan Synder and the rest of the guys playing angel hockey!

this was a terrible occurance and my sympathies go out to his family, they will be in my prayers

i can relate, because Ben Roethlisberger, QB of favorite team the Steelers, was very seriously injured in a motorcycle accident a few years ago, and it was a very scary time for the Steeler Nation. Thankfully, he survived.

I am sure all Nucks fans are mourning, and i feel for you.

he was only 21 and only played in the NHL for 2 years...i can't believe that

his wikipedia page already has his date of death

anyways...
