EXTREMELY bad pain after spinal tap in lower back?

I can hardly move, get up or roll over in bed. I can't get comfortable. The doctor gave me some pain meds but have hardly touched it. Anyone had this happen. Is it normal? One doctor told me it wasn't and that I should call the doctor who performed it. Help please.

You need to call the doctor that did it asap - don't wait until Monday - that is not normal - low level aching in the back - yes. that's normal, pain so bad you can't get up and need pain meds, not normal.

I had this done when I was a kid and the pain was close to the worst I have ever had please call the doctor immediately.
