Eabhas Fantasy to prevail in the A1 The Race Sponsorship A1 525 Semi-final
Eabhas Fantasy will race as a favourite in the Grade A1 The Race Sponsorship A1 525 Semi-final, which is scheduled to take place on 26th April, 2012 at Shelbourne Park.
Competing against Allen Grove, Shortenmystory, Monks Byrne, Nosey Posey, and Saint Bernard, Eabhas Fantasy is sent as the 9 to 4 shot for a prize of €100 over a distance of 525 yards.
The son of Premier Fantasy, out of Kingsmill Beauty, raced at Shelbourne Park for most of his career, but he ran a few races at Harold’s Cross. He will use the familiarity with this to his benefit, and try to crush his competitors.
The white and black hound landed a massive victory in the first race of his career, as he defeated the Grade A4 Try A Trio A4 525 at Shelbourne Park on 10th August, 2011, where he raced with the favoured odds of 6 to 4..
With his brisk pace and agility, he defeated, Royal Valley, by 6 lengths in 28.95 seconds.
The S. Graham trained hasn’t landed a victory yet this season, abut he will be looking to down today’s race.
He finished as a runner-up to, Airlie Impact, by 1 length in the Grade OR 1890 269 969 Open 525 at Shelbourne Park on 11th February, 2012.
Allen Grove, son of Head Bound, out of Bluetoon Megan, may give, Eabhas Fantasy, a tough time on the track today, as he is in extremely good form.
Gilbert trained hound defeated, Head For Fame, narrowly by ½ a length in the Grade A2 Fundraising Night Out A2 525 Final on 21st January, 2012.
He entered the Grade OR FFK Sires Open 525 Semi-final with the same fervor, and this time he landed the victory over, Ringtown Ben, by 3 lengths on 28th January, 2012.
Today, he will break out of trap 4 with the winning odds of 5 to 2.
It will be a close race as the two hounds will be battling it out with each other for the victory. Chances are that Eabhas Fantasy will show he is at another level and succeed leaving, Allen Grove to finish second.
