Each day, Dave either walks to work and

rides his bicycle home or rides his bicycle

to work and walks home. Either way, the

round trip takes one hour. If he were to ride

his bicycle both ways, it would take 30

minutes. How long would a round trip take

if Dave walked both ways?

  1. 1 Hour?

  2. 1 1/2 hours or 90 minutes

Okay, if he rode his bike both ways it would take 30 minutes. That means that one way is 15 minutes. So if it takes him 15 minutes to ride one way and it takes him an hour to walk one way and ride the other it means that it takes him 45 minutes to walk. So 45 minutes plus 45 minutes is 90 minutes or 1 1/2 hours.

  3. that above person is right 90 mins
