  1. Answer C is the answer to your question.  Only the serratus anterior has its origin (non-moving end of a muscle) on the anterior side of the body as its origin is the outer surface of ribs numbered 2-8.  Its insertion is the medial side of the scapula.

    All of the other muscles have their origin on the spine.
