Question:

Each of us needs to ask Congress for relief from the federal and state fuel tax?

Even though the fuel prices are unstable, we need relief from the additional federal and state tax on fuel that we are paying.

It is unfair that the government is benefiting from the high price of fuel by getting a percentage of what we are paying. Relief is needed so that we can get to our jobs, without jobs there is no federal and state payroll tax to "fuel" the government.

  1. each of us needs to get serious and DEMAND the bozos in washington repeal the stupid laws that stopped domestic oil production in the USA ! http://americansolutions.com/drillnow  the politicians have been lying to the people about oil for over 20 years.the USA has offshore and on land reserves that will last for over 500 years !

  2. How much did you think that was going to save you? Do you know what the fuel tax is in your state? The federal gas tax is 18.4 cents per gallon. In Michigan the gas tax is .19 cents. Not really that much if you think about it on a per tank basis. I understand what you are saying, but if you dropped that 37.4 cents, most people would not realize nor would they see any savings.
