Each way golf betting

Question

if i bet on a golfer each way and the bookmaker is paying out 5 places if my golfer comes tied for fifth with 3 other golfers will i get anything back??

depends. if there are any other ties for places above fifth then no. imagine there is a tie for second place. the two golfers tied are both second but also both third. however if there are no ties in the top 4 places, the 5th place like in your bet will pay out. hope this is clear
