Eagles' quarterback Michael Vick and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin questionable for Sunday – NFL News
Philadelphia Eagles’ head coach Andy Reid on Friday said that quarterback Michael Vick and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin are going to be placed on the team’s injury report as questionable for the next match.
Vick was injured during the week 10 match against Arizona Cardinals. Owing to two broken ribs, he did not participate in the practice session on Wednesday and Thursday. Vick started his professional career with Atlanta Falcons
and joined Eagles in the year 2009.  In the nine games he has played this season, he has a record of 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
The other player who will be listed as questionable is Maclin who was also injured during the match against Cardinals. He is suffering from hamstring and shoulder injuries. He was drafted by Eagles in the 2009 NFL Draft. Like Vick,
he too has played all the nine games this season. He has four touchdowns and 46 receives for 612 yards with an average of 13.3 yards per receive.
Coach Andy Reid is still not ruling both of them out of the Sunday’s game against New York Giants and said that if the players feel fit and are able to play the game, they will be included in the final line-up.
"Really, it's the shoulder is actually the thing I told you I thought was a little more serious than the hamstring," Reid told reporters about Maclin. "He ran today, it's just a matter of him feeling comfortable running. He's made
improvement with that, and we'll just see how he does here the next couple days. If he doesn't go, [WR] Riley [Cooper] jumps in and plays.”
In Vick’s injury sustains and he fails to recover before the Sunday, Vince Young is expected to replace him. Young said on Wednesday that he was ready to make his first start and said that he would definitely be happy to be on
the field. Furthermore, the coach is also satisfied with him, which means that there is a strong possibility that Young could start the Sunday’s game.
"I feel comfortable with Vince," Reid said. "He's done a nice job in practice ... He's been willing to spend the time. He comes in early, leaves later and comes back after dinner.”
