Eagles fight song..?

Question

in the philadelphia eagles fight song, they say "him em low, hit em high, and watch those eagles fly". now i know they mean the eagle hit em low and high and then fly around the field after al, they R the eagles), but doesnt how they say it make it sound like they mean hit the eagles low and high, then watch them fly (because u hit them so hard). now im an eagles fan to im not showing any disrespect to them or anything, but i always thought that was kinda strange and i wonder if any1 else does 2

It could also mean "flying to the ball" on defense, as well as "soaring to new heights" ( a victory)
