slightly worried that they are resting Buckley... but Malthouse obviously has a game plan. does it really matter though? In the end.. it's who is on top in September that really counts....

The Pies have only played one good team this year (Adelaide) so judging their true ability is hard. Accordingly the Eagles would have advantage of home ground and motivation after losing to Dockers.

Malthouse knows how hard the trip to WA can be on players, especially the following week. He's being smart in resting Bucks ready for Geelong game.
