Eamon O'Carroll happy with move to Hull FC - Rugby League

Eaman O'Carroll is looking forward to a brand new chapter in his rugby league career, after pledging his future to Hull FC for the next three years on Friday, December 2.
The player decided to end his career at Wigan Warriors, even thought the club still wanted him onboard. However, the 24-year-old Irish International opted to part ways with his long time cub and build up on the latest association at KC Stadium.
Expressing his delight over his commitment, the prop said, "To be joining a club like Hull FC is massive. They are a huge club with a great history and a great fan base and I am very privileged to be joining them. I am looking forward to getting over there
and getting into pre-season and it is a move that really excites me so I can't wait to get started."
This move will prove to be very beneficial for the player because so far he has only played for Wigan ever since he joined them in 2005 through Wigan Academy. The veteran boasts a successful run at his debuting club with 80 games to his credit along with
a total of 12 points scored.
Most of last year the player sat out of the major rugby league campaigns because he had sustained a career threatening sternum injury, which took almost the entire year to heal completely. The surgeons that treated him were initially reluctant to give their
complete assurance regarding his severe injury.
The entire 2011’s season went by before the Wigan veteran could play a few games for the club. His comeback was unexpected but the player’s determination and will to continue playing along with the excellent medical supervision has turned the seemingly impossible
in reality.
Nonetheless, the player is satisfied with his move to his new home, where he will start afresh. While expressing his views about departing from his long-time debuting club, the player added it was not at all easy for him to choose between his debuting club
and the newest offer on the table. Finally, he decided in favour of Hull in a bid to test his skills at a brand new location because he felt that it was high time to move on.
