Question:

Ear Candling and Swim-Ear?

My friend used Swim-Ear to unclog her ear from being in the pool last night. I suggested ear candling, but am unsure of its safety since she's used the Swim-Ear. The Swim-Ear has Isopropyl Alcohol as a main ingredient... is this dangerous or will it still be safe considering the flame won't reach her ear? She hasn't used the Swim-Ear for a few hours either, so is it ok to still do the candling?

Thanks for your answers :)

  1. Never try ear-candling irrespective of whether she has put alcohol in her ears or not. It is very hazardous and she may even lose her hearing ability. Read this:
